The postman brought Mark some post yesterday morning :)
The first piece was from Phoenix. The front reads "I hope your having a smashing time" and the inside (along with lots of hearts and kisses! think Mark has found a fan) reads "missing you mark. To Mark and Hannah, I hope your having a smashing time and I hope you have a great party Mark. XXX Love from Phoenix". Haha bless him, I think with Mark's birthday approaching (tomorrow!!) Phoenix assumed he would have a party!
The second piece was from Phoebe. Phoebe drew Mark's name on the front as you can see, and inside she wrote "To Mark, are you ok in Heswall. (Phoebe asked me to write Heswall, haha). We went in a big deep swimming pool. And we went on the beach. We had lots of fun. Love from Phoebe xxx" and Phoebe also wrote "Supper Star", I think she meant super star!! Maybe?! Phoebe chose to tell Mark about their little holiday :)
That last picture won't upload the right way!! But these are Indigo's doodles for Mark :) and someone (Phoebe?) gave Indigo some help on writing inside her letter, and they wrote "To Mark and Hanner, Im missing you lots xxx <3<3<3 I love you! Love from indigo" :)
This was yesterday's incredibly fatty (and just plain old incredible) lunch!! On my way back from work, where I had to go despite being ill as I can't let people down, I had a craving for bacon and beans. So bacon, cheese and bean sandwiches for me - absolutely delicious!! Mark was good and stuck with his cheese sandwiches :) I was having that feeling I get when I'm ill or I've been sick where I need to eat fatty food!!
And yesterday afternoon, we went for a walk after our lunch (I think I needed to really!!) and en route home got a slushie :) the lady in Blockbuster gave us large ones but charged us for small, how lovely! It felt so nice on my sore throat!
I was in need of some shampoo and conditioner, and I have been using Herbal Essences 2 in 1 religiously for a while now. But my hair has been quite dry, so I thought I'd better involve some normal routine conditioning in, as I always shampoo my hair twice. I thought I'd give these Boots own brand ones a go, they look nice, and were on 3 for 2 at only £1.29 each. What a bargain! I have to wash my hair tonight, so I'll let you know how I get on with them.
This is what I wore for work today - remember this charity shop find blouse? I teamed it with a camel coloured jumper, and love it! I think the pattern of the blouse is very Luella.
It is Mark's birthday tomorrow - he is very excited!! He informs me we will be up at 5am to open presents!! After present opening and birthday cake baking, we have a trip to the doctors for my blood test, followed by a trip into town so Mark can spend some of his birthday money! We're going to pop and see nana after that, to take her some cake :) I hope your week has gotten off to a good start - and here's hoping this tiny shimmer of sunshine is here for tomorrow too!
