John Greed Valentines Day Blogger Challenge

The lovely people at John Greed Jewellery are hosting this fabulous Valentines challenge for bloggers. The rules were that you were to choose a minimum of four items, up to the value of £250, and create a mood board with said items and why you chose them. I um'd and ah'd over this all evening, since seeing another blogger's entry and thinking how gorgeous the jewellery was. I don't tend to wear too much jewellery, so when I do buy something it has to be very special. I think each of the items I've chosen is beautiful, I took a long time deciding!

One: Hot Diamonds 18ct Gold Vermeil Daffodil Earrings £69.95
I fell in love with these earrings as soon as I saw them! As you may remember from my previous post, daffodils to me are a symbol of the charity Marie Curie, who helped my family through a very hard time. Daffodils for me represent many positive things; hope, care, and of course Spring (the season of new and beautiful things). I think these earrings are beautiful and eye-catching, and I would feel very happy wearing them.

Two: Michael Kors Gold Minimalist Watch MK3179 £155
I have been lusting after a beautiful watch for a while now, I considered getting one but unfortunately decided it was an extravagance I couldn't afford. But since this is my wish list, I had to include this chic, minimalist watch by Michael Kors. It is just perfect! The gold tone and champagne face of this watch, paired with the simplicity of it, make it wonderfully elegant and sophisticated.

Three: Estella Bartlett Stars So Bright Pink Bracelet £10
and Four: Estella Bartlett Stars So Bright Navy Bracelet £10
How pretty are these friendship bracelets by Estella Bartlett? They are so versatile, and very, very sweet! I was pondering over choosing something for my beloved other half, but as he refuses to wear jewellery (bar a single leather Pandora bracelet) I knew it would be pointless. However, Valentines isn't just for lovers. I have a few friends who are single, and I picked these gorgeous bracelets as a gesture of love for friends who won't be receiving Valentines this year. The sweet little stars and the fine cotton cord on which they are threaded make for the perfect gift. There are more colours and designs in this range too, they are all very affordable, but also something special.

So that concludes my wishlist! There were lots more things I fell in love with, and more added to my wishlist, but these are my favourites by far. I would definitely recommend John Greed to anyone searching for a gift, the prices range from affordable to higher end, but at each end of the spectrum it is easy to find something special.
