Rachael Adams!
Congratulations lovely! I have emailed you to let you know, and to ask for some details/photos :) a big thank you to everyone who entered, and to everyone who reads my blog! I will post a picture of the finished illustration once it is finished.
I have decided as a kind of runner up prize, I am currently offering a 15% discount on custom illustrations in my shop. The discount is already applied, and will run until the last day of the month :) also lovely ladies, if anyone would like to support Marie Curie and get a pretty print in one go - my Girl in the Daffodil Dress print is available now in my shop for just £5 plus postage, with £2.50 from each sale being donated. There is a postage discount for multiple purchases, so if you'd like to do a good deed and help raise some money for charity whilst treating yourself to a custom illustration at the same time, it would class as a bargain right? :)
Now I'm off to do my life a good deed and actually get on with some uni work... I'll be back later to catch up with all my favourite blogs!

You might remember me mentioning a little while ago that I intended to do some fundraising for the charity Marie Curie. Well, today is the first day of March, and so the first day of Marie Curie's Great Daffodil Appeal 2013. In keeping with the daffodil theme, I painted the above illustration "Girl In The Daffodil Dress". I am selling a limited run of only 25 prints on my website (please bear with it if it's being a little slow!). The prints are just £5 each without postage, and £2.50 of each sale will be donated to Marie Curie. If you know anyone who'd like one, or perhaps you'd like one for yourself, please share the link :) I am fundraising for Marie Curie in memory of my dad, and as part of my 25 by 25 resolutions.
Also lovely people, there are just two days left to enter my giveaway to win your very own custom illustration :)

Since Saturday was spent being ill in bed for the majority of the day and evening, I have spent this rainy Sunday listening to Plans by Death Cab For Cutie and painting the above picture. This is a sneaky peek of something I have planned for next month, involving some fundraising I will be doing for the charity Marie Curie. I am very excited about this project I have decided to do, and look forward to sharing more pictures and info with you soon!
If anyone would like to donate to Marie Curie in the meantime, my sister Zenobia is doing a charity skydive for them, in memory of our dad. If anyone would like to donate anything they can afford, please click here, any amount is appreciated :)
Now on to the important bit... my 50 follower giveaway!
I very recently hit 50 followers, something I never dared imagine I might achieve! I am so happy that people enjoy my little blog, and hope people will continue to enjoy it. The former part of this post is quite appropriate, as I have decided that the prize for my giveaway is going to be a custom A5 illustration of yourself or someone of your choice. All you need to do is be a follower of my blog via GFC, or Bloglovin' if you don't have GFC (but feel free to follow both!). Please leave your email address in your comment, so that I can contact the winner easily. The giveaway will end in 3 weeks time, and it will take a further week for the picture to be completed and posted to you. The winner will be contacted to discuss their illustration :) good luck everyone!
